23/24 weeks!

It has been SO long since I've updated this thing ..so yet again I am combining two weeks into one blog post! A lot has been happening over here since I last posted, not sure where to start! At first it seemed like I would be stuck in my first trimester forever, and now my days seem to be flying by.. leaving me feeling overwhelmed/nervous/excited that we only have 3 ish more months until baby girl is here. So much left to do! and I must make an effort to update this as often as I did when I first started it!

How far along: I am 25 weeks and some change! Will be 26 weeks this coming Sunday :)

Gender Prediction?: GIRL :)

Baby is the size of?: An eggplant! and almost pushing 2 lbs!

Weight gain: 25lbs..ish? I've lost track..

Maternity clothes: All of them! Love them...so comfortable!

Stretch marks: None that I can see yet! I'm sure they're on their way though.

Belly button in or out: In/ almost out!

Sleep: Sleep has been great as of the past few days....Had some pretty bad "tailbone" issues/ excruciating pain ( I will spare you all the lovely details) that put me out of work for a week and left me pretty much immobile and unable to move/walk/or sleep comfortably. Couldn't exactly lay on my stomach to get pressure off it either which made it 10x worse! After several Doctor's visits I am SO glad to be feeling better :)

Best moment this week: Hmm..where to start? so many fun things! Had an ultrasound last Friday and they were able to get the pictures they needed of baby girl's spine and hands. My OB said everything looks great which was such a relief! We also made some more baby purchases and Chris made a not so baby-related purchase but I think it is something we can enjoy as a family for sure ;-)

We got this  super cute/super affordable 8-drawer Hemnes dresser
from IKEA. (This is not our nursery but I used this picture
to show you what it will look like as a changing table)

Also purchased these Ribba floating shelves
from IKEA as well. Can't wait to do something like
this in Ava's nursery!

Purchased crib bedding from Fingers and Toes Etsy shop
online! I do not have a picture of the final product
because it will take a few weeks to get here, but I was able
to work with them and these will be the fabrics used
in the bed set! Super excited for the outcome!

Also purchased this faux fur rug which I think
will look adorable in the nursery as well as for
putting baby girl on and taking even more adorable photos!!

Our new addition to the family! We took it out for the
first time last weekend and it was so nice and relaxing!
I was able to catch a tan and we stopped off for lunch and had the BEST
fish tacos I've ever had!

Chris driving the new boat!

Here's a pic of baby girl's little legs all stretched out!
All of the profile ultrasound pics came out blurry
and I thought this one was so cute :)
Something about baby feet that I just love!

Miss anything: Being able to bend over/roll over without trouble !

Movement: Lots of karate chops and kicks lately! We love laying in bed and being able to feel her kicking away!

Cravings: hmmm....now that the weather is getting pretty warm I've been housing popsicles like crazy! Loving these sour patch popsicles so much!!

Queasy or sick: Feeling great the past few days! I had a seriously ROUGH week last week with my tailbone/back and I am so glad to be feeling better!!

Looking forward to:  Chris' Brother Dan, Nicki and the kids are coming up next week for a few days to celebrate the 3rd/4th of July! Can't wait to spend time with them :)
Also have guys coming to measure nursery for carpeting that we are getting installed soon! Still haven't decided on a color to go with the light gray walls we have in there. What do you think?? I don't want anything too dark, and definitely not anything too light that any little stain will pick up. Here are our samples..

I like the 3rd to last in the last row here..

I also like both of the lighter gray colors
in the 2nd to last row here...hmm

25 week baby bump!
